Forces
This Isn't Sumo Wrestling, but it does have the same concept. If one wrestler pushes the other one with more force, the person will accelerate.
Wrestling is all about forces. When pinning someone, taking someone down, or sprawling. When you start to put someone in a half nelson, you push your arm on his neck. If you use enough force on his neck, his body will start to turn over. You have to use a lot of force to flip the body over. It actually all depends on how big someone is. But, the smaller guy with not a lot of mucle may have to use more force that a heavyweight guy.
When taking someone down with a double leg, you're going to have to pick the other person up, which requires a lot of force because, when the other person sprawls on you, he's pushing all of his body weight on top of your back and head. So, when you try to take down a guy 130 pounds pushing all of his weight on you, it is going to require some work to get his legs, and then actually take him down. Also, when you sprawl after an opponent attempts to take you down, all of the weight is being put on someone's back. The force of the person sprawling is all put onto the other person's back.
